Ms. Howell’s 4^th Grade Class

Dear Parents,

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break.  It is hard to believe that we have only 10 school days until the end of the year.  We will be very busy over the next two weeks as we finish units and projects, take benchmark tests, and have holiday parties. 

Below are just a few reminders/notes for the week:

• The Media Center December bookmark is due Friday, December 19^th.  If you need another copy of the bookmark, you can print one from my Ms. Tone’s website.  
• Our class-wide spelling bee will be on Wednesday, December 17^th.  A practice list went home many weeks back.  If you have misplaced the list and need a new copy.
• We will begin our end-of-nine weeks Benchmark testing next week.  We will have Reading/ELA on Wednesday and Math on Friday.  The Science and Social Studies test will be the following week. 
• Remember you can always keep up with your child’s grades by looking at the parent and student portal.  As we end the nine weeks, keep in mind that most grades will be entered by December 19^th.  However, some assignments may be graded and input during the holiday break.  Be sure to check the portal after January 5^th for updated grades as a few assignments could be added on our teacher work day in January.
