Parents,
You will notice multiplication timed tests coming home in your child's Friday Folder and in the grade book. I will be giving 4 to 6 of these timed tests each 9 weeks. The students were supposed to master the basic facts 0-12 in 3rd grade. In a few weeks we will begin moving into multiplying larger numbers (2-digit by 2-digit; 3-digit by 1-digit; 4-digit by 1-digit). So, it will be extremely helpful for your child to know their basic facts. I highly recommend buying some flash cards from the dollar store, Wal-mart, or Target for repetition practice. I am also including some websites/games that your child can do at home. I hope that you and your child find these resources beneficial. I am sure there are many other games and Apps out there, but these are a few of my favorite resources. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your support at home!
